Friends! I am Noa Oberman, your 2016-2017 Social Action/Tikun Olam Vice President! I am thrilled to be helping you all for the next year in finding how YOU can fit into social action. This coming year our SATO initiative is about inclusion and it only seems fitting that I would include you all in the process. I want to learn what floats your boat (or just doesn’t sink you canoe) in terms of SATO programs so we can have an engaging year free of conventional “me as leader-you as audience” type programs. The reason SATO is such a remarkable position is because I can help cultivate energy so that all of us together can make these strides. I can’t do this without all of you and want you to include me (*wink*) in what you’re most interested in. I know some people think I’m just some organic farmer who spends all day in her garden, but I promise to spend a little less time in the dirt and a little more time making 2016-2017 a magnificent year for you full of inclusion, empowerment, and action.
